Tricare is no longer available for education purchasers. Standard Apple 12 months Limited Warranty applies to all computers by default and you will need to purchase a warranty upgrade to extend the warranty to three years.
Two new options available for universities: AppleCare Premium Warranty and AppleCare Repair Extension
For all individually owned computers, computers that are not supported by an institution help desk, or portable computers that are utilised outside of the institution, we recommend the AppleCare Protection Plan.
For institutional desktops and portable equipment that is only used inside the institution and supported by the institutions help desk, the most economical choice is the AppleCare Repair Agreement.
