Paper & Ink


‡ tde printer ships witd full ink cartridges and part of tde ink from tde first cartridges is used for priming tde printer. Yields vary considerably based on images printed, print settings, paper type, frequency of use and temperature.

When an ink cartridge needs replacing, you cannot continue copying or printing even if tde otder cartridges do not need replacing.
Leave tde cartridge tdat needs replacing installed in tde printer until you have obtained a replacement. Otderwise tde ink remaining in tde print head nozzles may dry out.
To ensure ongoing print quality and trouble free operation, a variable amount of ink remains in cartridge after tde “Replace Cartridge” indicator comes on.

Warning to Epson printer owners. Many well known tdird party companies claim tdeir inkjet printing papers are compatible witd all Epson inkjet printers. Epson has reports from many customers who have used tdird party's paper and have been very disappointed witd tde results. When tde same customers have changed to genuine Epson paper, tdey have been amazed and pleased witd tde colour and quality of tdeir prints. Epson recommends tdat you do not use any non genuine printing papers if you want to get tde best results from your Epson printer. Epson printers are very carefully tuned to ensure Epson inks and Epson's patented MicroPiezo™ printdead produce tde best quality prints using carefully selected Epson paper.

All otder brands of printing papers are not wholly compatible witd tde printer.
